Oncology nurses across Canada will participate in public flash mob events in cities across Canada. Check back later on our Video page on this site to see the results!
Oncology nurses all over Canada will raise awareness by doing the same flash mob and dance to the same music at noon in public spaces of various cities around the country. After the dance the nurses will keep a moment of silence to think of the victims of cancer before dispersing.
The events will take place on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at noon.
The music and the dance moves can be seen in this video. The nurses should wear the CANO/ACIO Colors Orange, Cranberry or be wearing a nursing scrub and wear their CANO/ACIO pin.
Each flash mob group should have one responsible person to film the flash mob and send the video to CANO/ACIO Head Office after the flashmob on Oncology Nursing Day.
Head Office will then upload all the videos to the new CANO/ACIO YouTube Channel that will be launched together with OND 2012! Please contact us at email@example.com for further instructions.
To advertise your flashmob, nurses are encouraged to download and use the “Let’s Flashmob” poster.
