Alberta North Chapter Event
ONIGA North is proud to host a lunch for the nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute on April 3, 2018 in partnership with United Nurses of Alberta (UNA). We will have a laptop available to sign up those interested in becoming a CANO member. In addition to CANO and UNA swag, CANO members will be able to enter their names in a draw for two opportunities for $500 towards attending the 2018 annual CANO conference in Charlottetown, PEI!

Your CANOBC Chapter Executive is pleased to host a dinner event with guest speaker Maureen McGrath, Registered Nurse and host of the Sunday Night Health Show on Corus Radio.
Maureen will present to us on the topic of: “The Will to Love: The Importance of Supporting Passion & Sexuality after a Cancer Diagnosis”
This event will be Videolinked from 5pm to 7pm across BC.
Greater Toronto Chapter Event
This year we celebrate the 15th Annual Oncology Nursing Day on April 3rd. The theme is “Excellence in Oncology: Our Patients, Our Passion” and what better way to celebrate than to learn more about an area of oncology that you have told us that you would like to hear about. Please join us at Joey Eaton Centre on April 3rd to hear about Bone Marrow Transplant and how to care for our patients.

The Ontario-Champlain Chapter plans to celebrate OND with by distributing themed goodie bags to all oncology nurses working on April 3rd, 2018. They will also have coffee, tea and treats distributed.

PEI Chapter Event
CANO PEI Chapter will celebrate OND by serving coffee and cake to staff and visitors at both of our cancer centres. In the evening of April 3, 2018 CANO members from across PEI will join to celebrate at a local restaurant. We will be have a presentation from an oncology nursing perspective on the Treatment of Multiple Myleoma with daratumumab.
